Marlene Dietrich (Berlin, 1901. december 27. – Párizs, 1992. május 6.) eredeti nevén Marie Magdalene Dietrich német színésznő, énekesnő.
                                                                                     ***
Marie Magdalene "Marlene" Dietrich (27 December 1901 – 6 May 1992) was a German-American actress and singer.
The first and definitive song-collection of this outstanding musical collaboration featuring the original Columbia, Philips and RCA recordings! When Marlene Dietrich met arranger and composer Burt Bacharach her second career had already begun. Together with Bacharach, she developed and refined a stage show program, which remained virtually unchanged for years and yet met with rapturous applause time and again. Standing ovations from Paris to Rio de Janeiro, from Berlin to London, in Warsaw and Tel Aviv.
Bacharach set her voice against arrangements that were contemporary, and less sugary than might've been expected, so that her songs became confessional and conversational. It worked just as good in 1968 as it had in 1928, and the diamonds-on-the-nude dress she always wore didn't hurt either. All tracks recorded 1968.
