"Much better than the debut in my opinion. It is better written and more focused, with the filler kept to a minimum. Of course, they are leaning a bit more towards the psych pop side here and if you know me, you know that I prefer the pop side of psychedelia over the rock side. Well, SAC certainly oblige me here with 12 tracks of dreamy psych pop with some psych rock elements sprinkled here and there. This is the SAC album I will probably reach for the most, everything I could want in this type of music is here and the songs are great. Of course, back then everything was centered on getting hits and after reaching number one with "Incense and Peppermints", their label was dying to get back to those heights. Probably explains the increase in pop material on this record. Well, among the two singles here, "Tomorrow" and "Sit With The Guru", they couldn't come close to reaching number one again. Too bad since both songs are fine and the album tracks are even better. The SAC never seems to get their due, especially with this album. Their debut is usually the one to get all the attention but I think this one is their best work." (rateyourmusic.com)
