Created by former members of the progressive rock band from Genoa Nuova Idea, guitarist Ricky Belloni and drummer Paolo Siani, after Nuova Idea divided, Track team was sort of "divertissement" for talented and already experienced musicians. The group also featured singer nicknamed Cacao (which was actually Dario Guidotti from Milan Progressive same team Jumbo, but it decided not to advertise), and session bassist Guido Guglielminetti, plus help from another Milanese prog-rock band I Giganti in the face of a keyboard Francesco "Checco" Marsella. Their only album, called too unpretentious, came out on Ariston, and it includes nine tracks, all sung in English, among which there are covers of composition "Long Train Running" from the Doobie Brothers and "Caroline" by Status Quo. Almost all the material of the album, oddly enough, is under the influence of boogie rock and roll style, is the most progressive instrumental track called ... "Track"
